Nutrena® Introduces LoyallTM Pet Food Line
MINNEAPOLIS---A new line of premium dog and cat food, Loyall™, will soon be available at ag-retail outlets around the country, including Nutrena®, Agway® and ACCO® dealers.
Building on Nutrena’s 80-year history of care and feeding of animals, the Loyall™ team of researchers and nutritionists has formulated one cat and seven dog food products that are balanced to the nutritional requirements of a pet’s age and lifestyle, with proven increased palatability.
“Owners of hard-working, highly active dogs, such as sporting and athletically competitive breeds, will find the right Loyall match to support and optimize their dog’s endurance and repletion recovery,” said Frank Ziacik, Pet Food Category leader, “while those whose pets have excess weight or sensitive stomachs will also have the right formulation to reduce weight or support healthy digestion.”
Ziacik noted that the Loyall line also includes a puppy formulation containing EPA and DHA, nutrients that are important for vision and brain development. “Our cat and kitten formulation similarly provides optimal nutrition for one’s pet, with balanced fiber for better digestibility and hairball reduction,” added Ziacik. “One of the unique features of the Loyall line is the Opti-Cook™ process, which enables better enzyme activity, helping to reduce digestive and stool problems associated with starch.”
The eight Loyall dog and cat formulations are dry and come in 20-, 40- or 50-pound tear- and water-resistant packaging that’s easy to open and re-closable. The Loyall products are balanced for the following pet ages and lifestyles:

High Performance Formula 24/20--for hard-working, highly active hunting and sporting breeds
Active Adults Formula 26/19--highly digestible, balanced for prime of life dogs
