Peter Vrijsen to lead global Human Resources at Cargill

MINNEAPOLIS – Peter Vrijsen has joined Cargill as corporate vice president, Human Resources.
Vrijsen has extensive experience in leading human resources functions at large, complex, global companies. Most recently, he was the chief people officer of InBev S.A., a global brewing company based in Belgium, which was created from the integration of Interbrew and AmBev. Vrijsen helped lead the integration of these two leading brewing companies.
Prior to that, Vrijsen was a member of the executive board of directors of Metro Cash & Carry Beteiligungs GmbH & Co. KG, a global self-service retailer based in Düsseldorf, Germany. He also has held senior human resources positions in SHV Holdings N.V., Royal Packaging Van Leer Industries, and General Electric, among others.

Vrijsen holds a master’s degree in organizational development from the Universiteit van Tilburg in Tilburg, Netherlands.
Born in the Netherlands, Vrijsen has lived and worked in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and the United States.
