Tissue HemiForce™ Solutions

HemiForce™ was developed for softer yet stronger tissue applications while maintaining or improving manufacturing costs and efficiencies. The new patented process is based on renewable agricultural seeds for both economical and earth-friendly production.

The HemiForce™ enhanced fiber additives are added to tissue fiber furnish on the tissue machine. Increasing and strengthening the fiber-to-fiber bonding with HemiForce™ allows for manufacturing tissue products with a higher recycled fiber content to manage costs while reducing production losses. HemiForce™ can reduce or eliminate the need for synthetic additives typically used for retention and strength, and is created using a totally chlorine-free (TCF) process.

HemiForce™ product quality improvement benefits depend upon application:

  • Product Softness
  • Water Absorbency
  • Stretch
  • Dusting

Tissue Application Results in Trials

HemiForce™ enhanced fiber additives have consistently generated manufacturing gains over multiple tissue grades in production environments. These results are specific to the individual mills and may not reflect the expected benefits for all applications.
