Cargill receives ADINKES award for efforts to improve community’s health in Pandaan, Indonesia

Cargill receives ADINKES award

Pandaan, Indonesia (Sep 19, 2024). Cargill is proud to announce that its subsidiary, PT Sorini Agro Asia Corporation, has been honoured with an award from Indonesia’s health agency association - Asosiasi Dinas Kesehatan (ADINKES) for efforts to help managing AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria diseases in 2024. Presented at ADINKES National Conference 2024, at Palembang, Indonesia, the award highlights Cargill’s ongoing commitment to positively impacting and improving the wellbeing of the local communities where we operate.

“This award reflects the dedication of our team in our Pandaan site, together with local communities to deliver impactful corporate responsibility program. We are committed to continuing our efforts in creating social initiatives that deliver meaningful impact to improving the health and wellbeing of our communities in Pandaan and Pasuruan area,” said Francesca Kleemans, Managing Director, Food Solutions Southeast Asia.

Throughout the year, Cargill works with local health office and public health centers through various health, nutrition and hygiene programs to prevent diseases like tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, malaria, and dengue fever by offering healthcare services, health screenings and education for the communities at Karangrejo, Kepulungan, and Ngerong villages in Pandaan district, Pasuruan regency, Indonesia.
