Polyols
An indulgent and at the same time healthy lifestyle is a priority for many consumers. On one side, consumers seek a healthier lifestyle and weight control. On the other, there is the attraction for sweets and calorie-rich desserts, as well as sugar-loaded soft drinks.
Polyols are an excellent solution. Polyols are sweeteners with reduced caloric value. Based on corn and sugar derivatives, polyols can also be used as bulking agents and to improve the texture of foods and beverages. Polyols can also be used in combination with intensive edulcorants for perfect results.
