Sweeteners

Using all the global knowledge and experience in the sweeteners market, Cargill is committed to collaborating with its customers to create original solutions, aligning our personnel and resources with their needs.

Many sweeteners are derived from starch. The starch can come from rice, wheat, corn, tapioca, oats and potatoes, but in Brazil, the main source is corn. Production is concentrated in the Uberlândia and Porto Ferreira plants.

If your objective is to create entirely new products or reformulate old ones, Cargill offers a variety of sweeteners, liquid and powdered, each with special characteristics for foods and beverages.
