As a student at Jamestown College in North Dakota, Mallory Fitts was interested in Cargill’s global diversity. When Cargill recruiters visited the campus, she interviewed for an internship that soon after paved a path for an exciting career.

Fitts is now a Cargill employee who partners with Cargill businesses worldwide as an accountant for the corporate Human Resources (HR) and Finance departments based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is a critical resource for the global HR service-level agreement process and coordinates related global training sessions. She assists businesses in successfully managing their budgets.

Fitts says the global aspect of her role is challenging and has opened her eyes to how business is conducted around the world. “I am much more aware of things like exchange rates and some of the tax policies that our foreign businesses must abide by.”
