Cargill statement on MN Hands Free legislation

Cargill fully supports Minnesota’s efforts to reduce incidences of distracted driving on our roadways with the Hands Free bill. With headquarters in Wayzata and employees working throughout the state, we are delighted this law promotes safer roadways for our employees and loved ones.

In fact, road safety is so important to Cargill, we implemented our own policy in 2017 to encourage safe driving practices among our 155,000 employees and contractors globally. This includes prohibiting the use of all mobile devices in vehicles, including hands-free technology, when working on behalf of Cargill. That is one way we can deliver on our commitment to ensuring our employees get home safely every day.
