Cargill in Argentina

Cargill has operated in Argentina since 1947. Over these decades, it has established itself as a leader in the country's agribusiness sector, driving exports, food production, and agro-industrial services, with a strong commitment to local producers. Main activities include the origination, processing and trading of cereals and oilseeds; production and commercialization of protein meals, vegetable oils, and biodiesel; wet corn milling and food industry ingredients; animal nutrition, providing products and services for feed animals; and financial services and risk management for the agribusiness sector. 

We contribute to community development by addressing local challenges, thus improving quality of life in the areas where we operate through the Cargill Foundation. Established in 1971, it coordinates the company's community involvement via a network of local representatives who design projects together with beneficiary institutions and key community stakeholders such as local governments and agricultural producers.
