Source of protein coatings and fillings

Source of protein coatings and fillings

A long-lasting energy boost

Key benefits

  • The best of both worlds – a nutritious yet indulgent treat
  • Enter a booming market with a wide target audience, no longer limited to gym-goers
  • Provide health-conscious consumers with a long-lasting energy boost and keep them fuller longer

Nutritious and delicious

With the protein trend showing no sign of slowing down, Cargill has developed delicious and nutritious source of protein coatings and fillings. Packed with around 20% protein, they are ideal to contribute to the protein claim of your cereal bars, biscuits and other final applications with no taste trade-off. We mask the off-taste of protein with consumer favourites such as chocolate flavour or other sophisticated flavours including salted caramel.

Enter a booming market that is becoming mainstream

New protein product launches are booming globally as consumers seek to increase their intake. Led by the USA, the protein wave is now hitting European countries, including the UK and Netherlands. It is breaking out of its sport nutrition niche into the mainstream and spreading beyond cereal bars into new categories, such as snacks and bakery. In addition to athletes, protein products now appeal to the guy next door, enabling you to target a large and growing consumer base.

A long-lasting energy boost

Looking for a nutritious post-workout bite or an indulgent treat that keeps you going all day? Cargill’s source of protein coatings and fillings will give healthconscious consumers the long-lasting energy they need while keeping them fuller longer.
