Choline and polyunsaturated fatty acid source
Choline source and liver protecting agent
The phospholipid phosphatidylcholine that we enrich by several process steps has proven its beneficial effects in many studies. The main health claim for soy phosphatidylcholine is that it supports liver metabolism and may help detoxification.* In the USA, lecithins and phospholipids from soy are GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) and accepted as a natural choline source.
There is a wide range of products allowing customers to create their own dosage forms like tonics and tablets. A very simple application of phospholipids is to use granulated lecithin on cereals or yoghurt. Liquid phospholipids can also be easily administered in soft gel capsules.
