North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge

The future leadership of the dairy industry is in the hands of the students who are training today at our colleges and universities. That’s why Cargill is proud to be a Foundation Platinum Sponsor of the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge program. It has been exciting to be there from the start of this program in 2002 and see more than 1000 students learn and apply their skill in dairy management, business management, and communication.

The Challenge

NAIDC is a competition among university dairy science programs, incorporating facets of a working dairy business in a forum that's interactive, educational and fun. Year after year, the Dairy Challenge benefits students, universities, dairy producers and the industry by training prospective leaders who will be better prepared to serve the industry of the future.

Support of the Dairy Challenge goes far beyond a financial contribution. Cargill team members are intimately involved in the regional and national competitions at all levels; from planning and coordination of the contest to judging the teams at the events and serving on the board of directors. We are proud to support this event that helps our future dairy leaders hone their skills.
