Fine-tune protein fractions for more accurate results

The Dairy Digestible Amino Acid (DDAA) model is the next generation of amino acid nutrients for dairy cattle. With three patents related to amino acid feeding of dairy cattle, Cargill is a leader in researching and understanding the metabolism of amino acids in dairy cattle.

Through ground-breaking research, we have been able to asses amino acid needs from the net products, including tissue maintenance, growth, milk production, and the efficiency of use of amino acids within the animal. Our innovative approach to amino acid supply takes into account each individual essential amino acid and how each changes during digestion.

With Cargill’s DDAA, you can more accurately supply the correct amounts of amino acids to your dairy cattle in the correct ingredients.  Our expert consultants can help you make better decisions about your feed formulations, helping you to realize improved milk production and enhance the health of your cows.
