Environmental Appraisal System (EAS®)

The Environmental Appraisal System (EAS®) is a qualitative and quantitative analysis of key environmental aspects that can affect bird health, feed conversion and weight gain and optimum egg production.

During an EAS® evaluation, electronic measuring tools are placed in the house to collect data regarding temperature, humidity, light intensity, air quality and water quality. We compare these data against industry standards and offer recommendations, training materials or guidelines to help address any issues discovered during the evaluation. We also provide a convenient field checklist to quickly calculate and summarize environmental factors for ongoing monitoring.
