Cargill started palm oil and specialty fats operations in Malaysia by acquiring Port Klang refinery facility in 1991. Since then, we have expanded and upgraded our plants to state-of-the-art facilities to focus on customer needs and requirements. Today, we operate and manage two vegetable oil refineries in Malaysia, located in Port Klang and Westport.

We produce various specialty oils and fats to cater to different food applications i.e. confectionery, bakery, dairy, specialised nutrition and frying solutions. In addition, our newly built Westport refinery has enhanced our capabilities to refine various soft oils namely soybean, sunflower, corn and canola oil. Our products are delivered to customers in more than 70 countries around the world. Consistent quality and reliable supply chain have made us well-know and trusted throughout the world.

Our plant facilities are HACCP, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, MSPO, AVA, MPCA, SQMS, Kosher and Halal certified to meet the stringent needs of consumers and customers worldwide.

We are also committed to promote the growth and use of sustainable palm oil throughout the supply chain. Our facilities in Malaysia are Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) supply chain certified for the segregation and mass balance supply chain model.
