In the third article in our series, we are going to look at the TrendTracker 2024 “EXPERIENCE it” macro trend. This relates to how today’s consumers place a high level of importance on experiences. They want to take control of their own diet, enjoying the products they love without feeling guilt or shame. Regarding food and beverage, taste is table stakes, but the experience can be elevated in many creative ways as consumers appreciate surprise and delight.
As consumers continue to seek indulgent experiences without breaking the bank, more opportunities will arise to innovate with cost-effective ingredients and solutions which enhance indulgent eating experience – all while prioritizing local sourcing. That’s why Cargill offers premium and sustainable ingredients that meet the demands of indulgent consumers, such as high-quality chocolates, specialty oils, sustainable and ethically sourced cocoa, and solutions for luxurious dairy products. This is all done, while still creating tailor-made solutions for our customers.
“EXPERIENCE it” is comprised of two food & beverage trends: INDULGE me and ELEVATED experiences.
