In 2008, we started our first production in our ultra-modern factory in Deventer, Holland, dedicated to the production of fillings and coatings.

By bringing together a wide variety of different fat and building upon the food expertise within Cargill, we are able to manufacture specific products that satisfy our customers’ requirements, in both small and large batches. We offer base-fillings and fillings with customer-specific taste and color options.

Specialties include low fat, sugar free, organic and yogurt flavored fillings.

Hazelnut fillings

We can create unique taste profiles for your specific requirements by:

  • Using different kinds of hazelnut pastes and flavors and varying the amounts included
  • Using a number of different types of fat depending on the specific application
  • Using different textures and grades; from very coarse to very fine

For the cereal industry the products keep an excellent liquidity even after the extrusion process.

Chocolate covered fillings

We can create many different taste profiles in a huge range of colors and textures including:

  • Milk chocolate and dark chocolate or anything in between
  • Sweetness; from sugary sweet to extremely bitter
  • Color; from light to extremely dark
  • Softness; from soft to extremely firm

White fillings

We can achieve almost any taste profile using our wide range of milk ingredients and fats. We offer a basic filling to which customers can add additional fats, colors and flavors to suit individual product requirements.

For the chocolate industry we use special fats which are resistant to fat bloom and extend the shelf life of the final product. Our highly versatile range of products is available in different grades from coarse to fine, from soft to hard and with different levels of fat.

Fillings are used in numerous applications and the possibilities are endless. Recent developments include:

  • Great tasting organic hazelnut filling developed specifically for the chocolate industry for use with organic chocolate.
  • A range of colored & flavored fillings which remain soft in the application developed specifically for the ice-cream industry.
  • Special recipes for the bakery industry which ensure products remain soft and creamy after baking.

Specialties include:

  • Organic fillings (Milk, dark and white)
  • White yogurt flavored fillings
  • Reduced sugar and low calorie fillings
  • Fillings with different colors and flavors profiles
  • Bake stable fillings (Milk, dark and white)
