We are taking textured proteins to a new level, with the launch of our new solution: Cargill™ plant protein TEX PW80 M. Uniquely obtained from pea and wheat, enabling functionality and meat like texture to be better achieved.
TEX PW80 M successfully mimics the meaty-like texture by delivering the right bite and chew, juiciness and mouthfeel in plant-based meat alternatives such as plant-based burgers, -meatballs and other plant-based ground meat alternatives such as those found in ready meals. For sausages too! Can be used in formulations where soy-based ingredients are not the preferred choice. Pea and wheat are familiar ingredients to European consumers, having a positive effect on purchase intent. Pea is in the top 3 of most positively perceived proteins with regards to health. *
