C✩TruSweet® Applications and Benefits
Beverages
C✩TruSweet® 01795 fructose syrup enables claimable (30%) sugar & calorie reduction, thanks to its high relative sweetness versus sucrose. 100% sucrose can be replaced by 70% fructose, whilst still ensuring the nice sweet taste consumers expect. Fructose is characterized by a fast sweetness onset, and it boosts freshness and fruity notes in beverages.
In combination with stevia, deeper reductions up to 65% are achievable. Lower sugar levels (< 5%) are achievable, enabling nutritional improvements and lower taxes*.
A ready to use syrup, it offers manufacturers also cost and ease of use benefits, as costs of high hygroscopic powder dissolution can be avoided. And there is low crystallization risk thanks to its high solubility.
*various countries have installed different (sugar) tax schemes. As such, the situation always needs to be evaluated market per market.
