Cargill has been active in Morocco since 1997. Following the recent acquisition of Degussa's Food Ingredients business, we have approximately 130 employees located in three locations — Casablanca, Fez and Essaouira.
We have activities in the following areas in Morocco:
- Grain, oilseeds, meals and vegetable oils trading and distribution
- Risk management and technical services
- Specialty food ingredients including texturizers and flavors
Recent Cargill investments in Morocco
- 2006 – Cargill acquired Degussa's Food Ingredients business, including its Moroccan sites in Fez and Essaouira
