Supply Chain Engagement

Working with suppliers, smallholders and industry partners to drive change

Cargill works in a number of ways to drive change throughout our supply chain – with suppliers and smallholder farmers, on our own plantations and through collaboration with a variety of stakeholders.

We source palm oil from third-party mill suppliers, from smallholder farmer cooperatives, indirectly from independent smallholder farmers and directly from Cargill plantations. (See Cargill Supply Chain Footprint and Mill Locations Map.) Our plantations work with more than 22,000 smallholder farmers (who have plantations of 2 hectares each).
