How Cargill is Taking Action

By providing transparency into our supply chain and key sourcing practices, we are able to identify and address critical and common challenges. We drive improvement through direct supply engagement and collaborative efforts with sustainability working groups, multi-stakeholder forums and landscape approaches. We verify progress through a variety of monitoring mechanisms. Through our robust and publicly available grievance process, we document and resolve complaints within our supply chain.

While we are encouraged by our progress and that of key industry players, we know there is much more to do. We are taking action to develop and implement scalable solutions that address common challenges, reach millions of smallholders and increase public-private partnerships. Through these actions, we aim to enforce long-term, systemic change to ultimately transform the industry.
