Coatings and Fillings
Seize the opportunity to use taste and texture to create an unforgettable consumer experience. We can provide the expertise and knowledge to maximize your chances for success.
Decades of experience and dedication
With decades of experience and a Center of Expertise in the Netherlands (Deventer) that is the only site in Europe devoted exclusively to the development and production of coatings and fillings, the knowledge and expertise we bring is second to none. Innovations developed at our Deventer site can have a spectacular impact on the end product, the visual or the sensory experience.
Help your new product development and existing product enhancements come alive, by making use of our extensive and flexible laboratory facilities to continually develop new colours, flavours and textures. Additionally, they can work with our R&D experts on everything from recipe development to on-site support at your plant, as well as an expert sensory panel at our House of Chocolate® facility in Mouscron (Belgium).
As part of our strategic chocolate roadmap to help you meet today’s chocolate trends, we’re adding 60% capacity to our coatings & fillings plant in Deventer. The upgraded facility will have a segregated line for compounds without nuts, separate from a line for products containing hazelnut.
Using our ingredient experts to perfect your recipe
Being part of Cargill means that we have a range of food ingredient expertise readily available. After 10 years of development and fine-tuning, our Cargill colleagues working on oils & fats have released a range of specialty fats called CremoFLEX® that enable our Filling Engineers to design the perfect blended recipe. The recently launched FlexFillings use different blends of carefully selected fats, to design the optimal filling to answer any specific sensorial, functional or nutritional needs.
