Food Safety Document Glossary

 

Title Definition
HACCP Letter This letter describes our general HACCP plans and supporting prerequisite programs that make up our overall food safety systems. Includes animal welfare, where applicable.
Letter of Guaranty This is a continuing product guaranty that guarantees each load of product delivered to your facility. This document must be requested.
Certificate of Insurance Insurance Coverage certificate to show Cargill’s insurance coverage. This document must be requested.
24-Hour Contact List Emergency contact list for all Cargill North American meat and poultry facilities.
Quarterly E.Coli O157:H7 Check Samples This letter documents the quarterly verification samples for E.coli on products sold intended for grinding.
Beef Harvest Testing Programs and Testing Declarations This document further outlines Cargill’s Beef Harvest facilities lotting and sampling program for E.coli. In addition, it further discusses the testing declarations provided to customers to show the product has been sampled and reviewed prior to receipt from the customer.
FDA Enhanced Feed Ban (CMPAF) This letter addresses Cargill’s program regarding ensuring animal products prohibited for use in animal feed are adequately segregated and handled appropriately.
Product Satisfaction Information This document covers our dating system and cold chain management practices utilized at our processing facilities.
mCOOL Labeling Letter This letter describes Cargill’s adherence to the Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling regulations.
