Holidays
Not all businesses/functions follow the following holiday schedule. In some locations, local customs may require the observance of one or more special holidays and the local manager may add or substitute a special local holiday. Please check with your supervisor to confirm the holiday schedule for your location. Where a holiday falls on a Sunday, Cargill observes the holiday on the following Monday. Where a holiday falls on a Saturday, Cargill observes the holiday on the Friday before the holiday.

Floating Personal Holiday
Floating Personal holidays are allocated each fiscal year, but you must be employed by Cargill by June 1 of the year in order to receive the floating holidays. For example, an employee hired on Dec. 12, 2022 was not employed with Cargill on June 1, 2022, (the beginning of the fiscal year) and would not be entitled to two floating holidays during the 2022-2023 fiscal year. If the employee were still employed by Cargill on June 1, 2023, he/she would be entitled to the two floating holidays for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
The floating holidays are only in existence while you are employed with Cargill. Floating Personal Holidays must be used within the fiscal year they are earned. If you do not use any floating holiday before your last day of employment, you will lose these holidays. You will not get paid for these holidays if they are not used.
