Long-Term Disability

If you are seriously ill or injured and unable to work for six months or more, long-term disability insurance can provide income for you and your family. If you are an employee with salaried benefits, you are eligible for long-term disability insurance through Cargill. 

Core coverage is company paid, up to a maximum salary of $100,000. You can choose to purchase additional LTD insurance that will replace 60 percent of base pay up to a maximum annual salary of $240,000. If you enroll in this coverage when you are first hired, you will not have to provide evidence of insurability.
