Medical
You can choose to enroll in one of Cargill’s three medical plan options. Choosing the right plan and using it wisely will save you money – and help you live a happier, healthier life.
Comprehensive, quality care
Cargill provides you comprehensive, quality care through three medical plan options provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield (other providers/plans may be available, based on location). While all three medical plans cover the same services, there are some basic differences you should be aware of when weighing your options.

New rules require health plans to provide information publicly regarding rates for all covered items and services under the plan at in-network providers and the “allowed amounts” (the amount the plan will pay) and “billed charges” (the amount the provider charges) for items and services at out-of-network providers. The files are required to be “machine-readable” which means that the information must be in a format that can be processed by a computer. As Cargill’s health plan administrator, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN has created these files for the plan and you can access them here.
This website describes benefits that apply to full-time employees who are eligible for model benefits. If you are a union employee, or a production hourly employee in Cargill’s Protein business, your benefits may vary.
