Short-term Disability (Salary Continuation)

Cargill is committed to providing an inclusive work environment and supporting its employees through critical life events that require time away from work. Therefore, Cargill has established this Salary Continuation Plan to provide income support for employees who are out of work due to an illness or injury. Coverage for Salary Continuation plan is 100 percent paid by Cargill.

Length of Service Continuation at 100% of full pay (Includes first calendar week) Continuation at a portion of full pay
Less than 1 year 2 weeks 6 weeks at 60% of Base Pay
1 year or more 12 weeks 14 weeks at 70% of Base Pay

Employees are eligible for up to a maximum of 26 weeks of salary continuation.
