Fura-Bolo Program

Cargill Brazil’s Fura-Bolo Program encourages children ages 7 to10 to enter a world of imagination, dreams, folklore and knowledge through the use of books, local culture and reading. The Fura-Bolo Program publishes the books used in the program, provides training for teachers and promotes reading programs.

Through the Fura-Bolo Program, the Cargill Brazil Foundation has published more than 230 books related to agricultural sciences, with stories on irrigation, planting, harvesting and food topics. The program is established in more than 180 schools, 13 towns and seven states within Brazil.
