Let's mark 10 years of the Cargill Cocoa Promise!
In 2012, we launched the Cargill Cocoa Promise, our signature program to deliver a transparent and sustainable cocoa supply chain while enabling farmers and their communities to achieve better incomes and living standards growing cocoa sustainably.
A decade later, we reach more then 222,000 farmers and 660 farmer organizations across Brazil, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Ecuador, Ghana and Indonesia.
Committed to cocoa & progress
As Cargill, we sit at the center of the cocoa supply chain, giving us a unique role in connecting farmers, customers and consumers. That’s how we help make the world’s food system more sustainable, resilient and accessible.
Connected with communities & partners for more
Partnerships are key to transforming the cocoa sector and drive positive impact. We use the power of more than 60 partnerships to accelerate and magnify our efforts to achieve sector transformation. Together, we build capacity to improve socio-economic and climate resilience for cocoa farmers, enhance safety and wellbeing of children and families in cocoa growing areas, promote environmental best practices and protect forests.
