Vikolox™ 16 acid scavenger
Vikolox™ 16 is a epoxidized C-16 Alpha Olefin used as reactive diluent and functional intermediate in lubricant formulations.
As an acid scavenger it is useful in formulations that will be used at elevated temperatures, etc.
Vikolox 16 can also be used to created borated epoxides that are particularly effective in reducing wear in heavy duty or multi-purpose lubricants with high levels of dispersants and detergents.
