Atmer™ 1013
Atmer™ 1013 bio-based, short term internal anti-static additive is designed for use in polyolefins and Flexible PVC. This product minimizes dust contamination, handling problems and helps with the de-molding process.
Atmer™ 1013 additive migrates to the surface of the polymer where it interacts with atmospheric moisture, reducing surface resistivity. This allows a dissipation of stative charge and provides a balance between an anti-static performance and process lubrication.
Guidelines for Use:
Atmer™ 1013 additive can be incorporated into resin as supplied or via masterbatch / pre-blend. Experience has shown that simple manual mixing prior to processing will normally give an acceptable dispersion though, mechanical means are preferred.
Typical addition levels are 0.2 - 0.6%
