Atmer™ 190

Contact us Request a sample

Atmer™ 190 anti-static additive is suitable for use in HIPS, ABS and non-transparent rigid PVC.

Atmer™ 190 additive also provides an anti-static effect in PLA and PLA blends, without effecting other properties such as transparency and mechanical properties.

When dispersed into the polymer, this product migrates to the surface and produces a long term anti-static effect.

Guidelines for Use:

Atmer™ 190 additive can be incorporated into resin as supplied or via masterbatch /pre-blend. Experience has shown that simple manual mixing prior to processing will normally give an acceptable dispersion, though mechanical means are preferred. Alternatively, it can be applied externally as a wet coating or by dipping depending on the manufacturing process.

Typical addition levels are up to 3 % for PLA and below 3 % for PLA blends. Typical addition levels are between 1 - 3% for styrenics and rigid PVC.

Typical addition levels are 0.5 - 4%.
