Atmer™ 262
Atmer™ 262 ethoxylated amine is suitable for use as an internal and external anti-static additive in polyolefins and styrenics. Atmer™ 262 additive has a synergistic effect with Atmer™ 129.
Guidelines for Use:
Atmer™ 262 additive can be applied internally or externally. As an internal additive it can be incorporated into resins as supplied or via masterbatch / pre-blend. Typical addition levels are 0.1 - 0.5 % in films and 0.5 - 3.0 % in molding applications. As an external additive it should be dissolved in an appropriate solvent, such as water or alcohol at a concentration level of between 2 - 5 %.
It can be applied by spraying, wet coating or dipping, dependent on the product manufacturing process. Atmer™ 262 additive is not suitable for use in PVC or in applications where it may come into direct contact with electronic circuit boards.
