IncroMold™ T
IncroMold™ T internal mold release additive is used to improve cycle time and productivity in a variety of polymers, specifically polyamides, and is suitable for use at temperatures up to and above 280 °C.
IncroMold™ T additive can be dispersed evenly through the polymer in the melt phase. It migrates to the surface of the polymer where it forms a thin lubricating layer. This layer reduces coefficient of friction between surfaces and reduces unwanted adhesion.
Guidelines for Use:
IncroMold™ T internal additive can be incorporated into resin as supplied or via masterbatch / pre-blend. Experience has shown that simple manual mixing prior to processing will normally give an acceptable dispersion, though mechanical means are preferred.
Typical addition levels are 0.2 - 0.5% for molding applications.
