Atmer™ 7326
Atmer™ 7326 additive is a 50% concentrate of an anti-fogging additive in a universal polyolefin carrier, providing long lasting benefits in greenhouse films, particularly multilayer films.
Concentrates are added to the process like other resins. After cooling, the additive migrates to the surface of the polymer and allows droplets of water to form a continuous layer, which improves light transmission, reduces plant and crop spoilage and improves the growth rates for crops.
Using a concentrate allows for better dispersion and overcomes complications encountered when using additives in their normal physical forms.
Guidelines for Use:
Atmer™ 7326 internal additive should be added to the melt phase during processing. Experience has shown that simple manual mixing prior to processing will normally give an acceptable dispersion, though mechanical means are preferred.
Typical addition levels are 2.5 - 10 % in injection molding and sheet extrusion.
