Priacid™ A95
Priacid™ A95 is a 95% purity 100% bio-based* azelaic acid for high performance polymers. Priacid™ A95 azelaic acid can be used in applications like polyamide, polyamide hotmelt modification, polyesterss and polyesters coating modification.
Some practical applications of the product include improving flexibility in products, helping lower melting point, reducing moisture uptake, abrasion resistance, and better dye receptivity.
From applications in automotive manufacturing to helping build better sealants with reduced moisture uptake, Priacid™ A95 azelaic acid has a wide variety of uses.
Priacid™ A95 azelaic acid is also used as a thickener for greases or as a water-soluble corrosion inhibitor when neutralized with alkanolamines.
