Contact us Request a sample

Celevida™ 4500 solution is a non-ionic polymeric surfactant of high molecular weight and imparts excellent emulsion stabilizing characteristics.

Celevida™ 4500 solution is particularly suited for use in fire resistant hydraulic fluids, metalworking and as a water in diesel fuel additive.

In oilfield applications, Celevida™ 4500 solution is particularly resistant to high-electrolyte solutions, high dispersed phase volumes, high brine concentrations and high temperatures.

We recommend this product is used at the following treat rates:

  • Fire resistant hydraulic fluids: 0.5 - 6.0%
  • Fuel additives: 1.0 - 2.0%
  • Metalworking/rolling fluids: 0.5 - 1.5%
  • Water-based drilling muds: 1.0 - 5.0%
  • Asphaltene dispersants: 0.5 - 5.0%
  • Oil-based drilling muds: 1.0 - 5.0%

Applications:

  • Hydraulic fluids – Fire resistant
  • Metalworking and forming – Metalworking fluids
  • Metalworking and forming – Rolling oils
  • Oil production chemicals
  • Fuel additives - Automotive
